Pipits and Wagtails

Out with Mark and Paz and we headed off to Flamborough this morning where a 1st winter Citrine Wagtail found at South Landing in the week had relocated to the beach at the end of Danes Dyke, it was an unusually late but smart looking little bird accompanied by several Pied and Grey Wags and just a few Rock Pipits, a very active bunch we spent most of the morning with them before moving along to South Landing where a Water Pipit eventually revealed itself, again in the company of a few Rock Pipits. With it turning into a nice sunny afternoon we decided to spend the rest of it with the Rough Legged Buzzard at Grindale, upon arrival it was sat in the corner of a field feeding on a Rabbit but unfortunately had eaten its fill and flew off before I got into position, it then spent the rest of the afternoon sat on the hedge, still all in all a pretty good day for early November.
quite a few Rock Pipits though largely ignored
